The Association for the Promotion of Artistic Initiatives Operativa was established in 2009 by the artistic and scientific community of three Lodz universities: the Academy of Music. Grażyna and Kiejstut Bacewicz in Łódź, Academy of Fine Arts Władysław Strzemiński and the State Higher School of Film Television and Theatre. Leon Schiller. The seat of the Association is the Academy of Music in Łódź.
At the moment, only employees of the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź remain members of the Association and the Association performs activities supporting the University's artistic projects. In accordance with the provisions of the statute, the Association conducts activities in the artistic, didactic and scientific areas, serves to support the development of artists-scientists, students and youth, may conduct charitable and promotional activities.
