Cooperation

Many years of work at the Academy of Music im. Grazyna and Kiejstuta Bacewiczów in Łódź allowed me to contact and implement artistic projects with many outstanding artists. As a pianist, chamber musician and tutor, I worked with prof. Maria Korecka-Soszkowska, Prof. Teresa Żylis-Gara, Prof. Udo Reinemann, Prof. Michal Grabarczyk, Prof. Vladimir Zalewski, Prof. Krystyna Hussar-Moczulska, Prof. Ursula Kryger, Prof. Beata Zawadska-Kłos, Ewelina Zawiślak, Aleksandra Bubicz-Mojsa, Anna Liszewska, Łukasz Błaszczyk, Piotr Płuska, Emilia Klimczak and many others. I created artistic projects with well-known sound implementers: Krzysztof Sztekmiler, Vadmim Radishevski, Marta Szeliga- Frynia. I also participated in verbal and musical performances directed by Jack Orłowski with actresses Gabriela Muskała and Maria Gładkowska. Individual projects have become longer-term collaborations over time:

Agata Górska-Kołodziejska and Anna Liszewska

Maria Szymanowska Piano Duo

Piano duo composed of Agata Górska-Kołodziejska (primo) Anna Liszewska (secondo), began cooperation in 2013. As the main idea of our work, we have adopted the promotion of Polish music and works of lesser-known composers, whose work is gradually forgotten. The repertoire presented at concerts at home and abroad is constantly growing and enriches with less popular or forgotten works (Nielsa Gade, Cecile Chaminade), as well as the world canon of chamber works for four hands and two pianos. A special place in our achievements is occupied by Polish music, to which we devoted the album Zapomniana polska muzyka fortepianowa na cztery rąk (DUX 1433). The release of the album coincided with the adoption in 2017 of the name of the duo Maria Szymanowska Piano Duo, referring to the first jointly released song for four hands (Grande Valse by Maria Szymanowska). The name of the band is intended to emphasize our affection for Polish music and also to indicate the presence and creative role of female composers and pianists in the history of music and piano chamber music.

Ursula Kryger

Artistic cooperation with prof. Urszula Kryger strengthened herself during the joint management of the activities of the Vocal and Acting Faculty at the Academy of Music in Łódź (prof. U. Kryger- dean, dr.hab. Agata Górska-Kołodziejska-prodziekan) in 2012-2019. Our fascination with unknown and difficult music, requiring knowledge of foreign languages, found an end in the implementation of a project popularizing the compositions of female artists operating in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. In this way, in 2018, the album Kobiety Muzyki was created. Songs (Women of Music. Songs) was published by Dux Recording Producers (DUX 1524). The album received worldwide distribution and great interest in the international music environment. She also received the title of Album of the Year 2018. Currently, we are starting work on the elaboration of all the songs of Irena Wieniwska, a composer with Polish roots creating under the artistic pseudonym Poldowski.

Beata Zawadzka

Starting artistic cooperation with prof. Beata Zawadka-Kłos dates back to 2007. For 13 years we have created a rich repertoire presented at numerous concerts and festivals in renowned cultural centers (Łódź Philharmonic, WTM) oscillating around the vocal lyric of all eras. A special place in our repertoire was taken by Polish music and, through the first performances at concerts and scientific and artistic sessions, the promotion of Polish, Łódź contemporary composers: Andrzej Hundzik, Jack Melon, Olga Hans, Dorota Brolik-Bekrycht. Sentiment for Polish music resulted in the release of a jubilee album on the occasion of the hundredth anniversary of Poland regaining independence in 2018 entitled In the Circle of Chopin-Songs (Ars Sonora, AM Łódź, AM 0054), which is still a material promoting the Academy of Music. Grazyna and Kiejstuta Bacewiczów in Łódź.
